This service allows people to text the number 741-741 from any cell phone anytime, day or night, about a crisis. A live Crisis Counselor responds to each text. Depending on your cell phone plan, you may be charged standard messaging services. But, it’s worth it in the end! Crisis Text Line is the best thing that’s happened to texting, and it has saved many lives.

One of the primary benefits of using the Crisis Text Line is that it’s always available, which is essential if you want to provide help to the youth in need. The service’s automated reply text messages include a link to its Privacy Policy. You must accept the policy to use the service. This helps to ensure that your messages are protected. However, if you don’t accept the Privacy Policy, you won’t be able to receive support from the service.

While this service is available 24 hours a day, it’s important to realize that it’s not a substitute for professional health care. If you’re having a clinical or medical emergency, you should call 911 or see a doctor immediately. The Crisis Text Line is free and anonymous. Crisis Text Line also offers a safe space for students to discuss issues like domestic violence, substance use, and the COVID-19 pandemic. This service is just a start. We’ll see how far the service can go and how many lives will be saved.
